Law and policies in the field of WEFE Nexus transition in Spain

This training material analyzes the legislative framework and policies of the European Union and Spain related to water resource management, energy security, agriculture and environmental protection. The WEFE (Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems) Nexus approach and related challenges are explored, with a focus on key directives, regulations and strategies. The goal is to promote sustainable development, safeguard natural resources and ensure the well-being of citizens. National and regional strategic plans that aim to address emerging issues and facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy are also examined.
