Modelling the Water-Energy-Food Nexus in the Val di Cornia UNESCO Ecohydrological Observatory

This study applies the FREEWAT-Q3 software, an open-source tool integrated with QGIS, to model the Water-Energy-Food-Environment (WEFE) Nexus in the Val di Cornia UNESCO Ecohydrological Observatory. By integrating spatial data and hydrologic models, the software supports sustainable watershed management.

The project emphasizes stakeholder collaboration for long-term climate impact assessment and the implementation of nature-based solutions.
