NEXUS-NESS is a research and innovation project funded by the European Commission within PRIMA programme.

The project's goal is to support a participatory WEFE Nexus transition towards sustainable planning and management of water, energy, agricultural and natural ecosystem resources in Val di Cornia (Italy), Duero basin (Spain), Wadi Naghamish (Egypt) and Wadi Jir basin (Tunisia).

In particular, it aims to co-produce and co-test with local stakeholders the WEFE Nexus management plans for fair and sustainable allocation of resources.
