The UN Water Action Agenda: register your commitment!

The Water Action Agenda is one of the key outcomes of the UN 2023 Water Conference.

It includes collection of voluntary water-related commitments aimed at addressing the global water challenges. Clear commitments and actions across sectors are crucial for delivering the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its goals with regard to water, such as SDG 6 and other water-related goals and targets. Several commitments strictly relate to the WEFE Nexus topics:

• Implementing a nexus water energy food approach in SIF programs;
• White paper: Water for Climate Healing - A New Water Paradigm;
• Conference: ‘Is Climate change adaptation all about water?’;
• The Water Cooperation Global Outlook Initiative.
